Your privacy is our priority. Learn how Findly protects your data by processing everything locally on your device.
Built from the ground up with privacy as the foundation
All file analysis and search operations happen entirely on your device. Zero cloud processing.
We don't collect, store, or transmit your files, search queries, or personal data.
Open-source algorithms and clear documentation of what data we process locally.
Works completely offline. No internet connection required for core functionality.
We collect minimal personal information only when you voluntarily provide it:
Findly processes ZERO file data on our servers. All file analysis, indexing, and search operations happen entirely on your local device. We never see, store, or transmit your files or their contents.
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to improve the product:
Findly is designed with a "privacy by architecture" approach. Our AI models run entirely on your device, ensuring your sensitive files never leave your computer. The search index is stored locally and encrypted.
All local data storage uses industry-standard encryption. Your search index and application data are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
The only network communications are for product updates, license verification, and anonymous telemetry. All communications use TLS encryption and contain no personal file data.
You have complete control over your data. You can delete your local search index, opt out of telemetry, and unsubscribe from all communications at any time.
Since all your data stays on your device, you can easily export or migrate your search index and settings to another device or backup location.
You can request deletion of your email address and any associated data from our servers by contacting us at privacy@findly.ai.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy or our data practices, please contact us:
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your files and search activity remain completely private and under your control.
